When CRAFT first came up with the idea for Evora, we wanted to create a floor that would be light in colour and work well with contemporary design concepts, but at the same time convey the natural shapes and patterns that result from the interplay of Hickory’s heartwood and sapwood.

The secret to Evora’s beauty lies in its carefully selected grain pattern. Each CRAFT Elite Grade Hickory plank must have a majority of heartwood, with sapwood content ranging from minimal to approaching half the board.

As a result, Evora’s organic linear patterns of light, and natural wood tones express a sophisticated interpretation of the unique patterns inherent to the hickory species. Perfect for creating a natural oasis.

Evora is not only beautiful, but it is sustainably made. Like all CRAFT floors, Evora is made from North American wood that is third-party verified by the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) to be from legal and responsible sources.

All CRAFT floors have a Declare label and are rated Red List Free; are ultra-low emitting and are certified to GREENGUARD Gold; and are covered by a Product Specific, Type III EPD.

For the utmost in design flexibility, Evora is also available in wide plank Herringbone or Chevron pattern. You can order as much or as little as you please, knowing that your Evora Herringbone or Chevron planks will blend perfectly with an Evora floor.

CRAFT Elite Grade: Specially selected to limit excessive colour variation and maximize clear surfaces for a clean, contemporary appearance.

WOOD PATTERN / GRAIN

The secret to Evora's beauty lies in its carefully selected grain pattern. Each hickory plank must have a majority of heartwood, with sapwood content ranging from minimal to approaching half the board.

TEXTURE / BEVEL

A light, wire-brushed texture gently accentuates the wood’s beauty without overly exposing the grain. Planks are moulded with a 0.7mm radius micro-bevel.

FINISH

DuRa Finish™ Ultra Matte looks natural and harmonizes with wood’s natural texture, while offering superior protection. CRAFT floors are regularly tested by Underwriters Laboratories for VOC emissions and consistently achieve the highest rating of GREENGUARD Gold, demonstrating an ultra-low level of emissions and ensuring a healthy living environment with excellent indoor air quality. As an option, DuRa Finish™ Ultra Matte can be upgraded to DuRa Finish™ Commercial. This is a great solution for flooring used in a commercial setting where it will receive more foot traffic than in a regular residential application, and where increased abrasion resistance is required. Learn More

GLUE

Highest quality, formaldehyde-free adhesive used to glue all components; CARB2 Compliant.

WOOD FILLER

All wood floors require some amount of wood filling to compensate for natural surface imperfections. CRAFT’s Artisan Team has created a custom wood filler specifically for Evora, designed to harmonize beautifully with its natural tones.
