Sustainable Building credits
Using CRAFT to earn credits in Green Building Rating systems
The values of CRAFT align well with the principles of sustainable building. All CRAFT floors have third-party certifications that contribute to the earning of points in several green building rating systems.
Indoor Environment Quality, Energy, and Material are core common categories to the established green rating systems. CRAFT’s commitment to using certified wood (as evidenced by the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) to be from legal and responsible sources certification of all its products) along with its use of low-emitting materials (as verified by its GREENGUARD® Gold and Red List Free® certification), and lifecycle assessment (as verified by its Environmental Product Declaration) are product attributes that will help a project team attempting certification in a green building rating systems.
All CRAFT floors contribute to earning a min. of 4 credits in LEED® v4, BD+C and ID+C:
MR – Environmental Product Declaration
MR – Material Ingredients Reporting
MR – Leadership Extraction Practices
EQ – Product Category Calculation

Modern design meets storied charm in this beautifully reimagined Montreal home.
Architect Alexandre Bernier and the Modulor team embraced the building’s original character while introducing a brighter, more open aesthetic—highlighted by thoughtful material choices and clean architectural lines.
Central to the transformation is CRAFT’s Genoa floor from the Contempa Collection. With its pale white oak tones and finely crafted structure, Genoa adds warmth and quiet sophistication to every room it touches.
This floor not only complements the home’s minimalist palette but also simplified installation for the project team, ensuring beauty without compromise.
