For all its good looks, Montiel –like every CRAFT floor is made from North American wood that is third-party verified by the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) to be from legal and responsible sources.
All CRAFT floors have a Declare label and are rated Red List Free; are ultra-low emitting and are certified to GREENGUARD Gold; and are covered by a Product Specific, Type III EPD.

CRAFT Natural Grade: Specially selected to limit excessive colour variation while highlighting some of the wood's natural characteristics.
The planks selected for a Montiel floor will be predominantly heartwood but will contain some sapwood, although the heartwood/sapwood distinction is somewhat muted by the surface treatment process.
