The CRAFT Elite Grade Hickory used for Modena is put through a multi-step, specialized colour treatment process to create a beautiful French grey tone without altering the underlying wood’s inherent beauty. Skilled artisans carefully select wide hickory planks with a consistent medium colour, and that have occasional lineal sapwood strips to provide subtle contrast.
The grey-brown tones of a Modena floor make it a great choice for projects using modern furniture and contemporary concepts.
Modena is beautiful and sustainable. Like all CRAFT floors, Modena is made from North American wood, Chain of Custody certified (Sustainable Forestry Initiative® SFI-01898) to be legal, responsible and traceable back to a sustainably managed forest.
All CRAFT floors have a Declare label and are rated Red List Free; are ultra-low emitting and are certified to GREENGUARD Gold; and are covered by a Product Specific, Type III EPD.
