Greycastle
I really like the way the brown and grayish hues work so well together. I’ve seen it installed in many homes and the effect is awesome. You get a floor with a lot of style due to the different grain patterns inherent in white oak. It’s a great choice for either a modern or rustic interior.

I love the natural colour, movement and variation our Kawartha floor. It’s beautiful texture and statement Hickory esthetic allows for an active lifestyle while maintaining a gorgeous natural biophilic appearance. I also love to suggest it for wall features and beam cladding when working with designers.

Working with designers every day, I’m constantly inspired by their vision and eye for detail. This influence makes it difficult to choose, but I’m drawn to Messina’s warm, organic look. Pure Hickory heartwood strikes balance, and light texturing feels fabulous underfoot.

My favourite floor is Kawartha. This dramatic hickory floor makes a statement once installed. Each board is unique in grain and texture which results in a one of a kind finished floor. The density of hickory also makes for a tough surface. Perfect for my house.

I have so many memories laying on a pine floor that looks so similar to Hayloft, and playing with the wooden horse my grandpa made for me in his old wood workshop back in the countryside in Mongolia. I still remember the smell of his workshop. I loved that smell as a kid. Miss him a lot.
