Dianne shared with CRAFT the trials of her newly-completed custom built home and the triumph of achieving her dream home in West Vancouver.
The homeowners had experienced 2 major renovations on previous homes, and this was their first new build. They controlled the design and build, and selected every finish with full attention to detail.
Q: On your canvas of white, the forged metal hardware and art elements add such industrial flair and seem to create a blend of polar forces against the cozier wood elements –can you tell us about these peices?
A: Yes, our favourite piece of art is certainly our(left), 5′ square, oxidized steel by Yoakim Bélanger.
Our favourite accessories are the locally sourced iron pantry and laundry room gates, and hand railing (left, & below / throughout) by Miran from BC Blacksmith.
Q: Please tell us about your first meeting with your floor.
A: We browsed local flooring stores and researched online. While shopping for our floor, we had very informed conversations and support from the CRAFT sales team and from their Authorised Dealer.
