Unlike most of today’s companies that exist only to continuously pump out an array of mass produced consumer goods, CRAFT is actually about something. CRAFT has a philosophy. CRAFT is a way of thinking – about wood.
We all live in an increasingly digitized world, one in which many of us have a harder time making a real connection to the natural world. We at CRAFT believe that the best way to re-establish that connection is through direct contact with the natural beauty of real wood. And there is no better way to achieve this than to fill your home with the luxurious, awe inspiring presence of a real wood floor. A real wood floor that fills every room, that feels wonderful to walk barefoot on, that enlivens the senses and makes a deep connection to the colours and textures found only in nature.
As makers of authentic wood floors, we recognize the unique role we can play in helping people make that connection, and we feel the responsibility to craft floors that are not artificial, contrived or fake in any way. It is a guiding principal for us that our floors must be as natural and organic as possible. It is something we care passionately about. It is the passion of CRAFT.
