CRAFT traveled to Peterborough Ontario to see Sharon and Paul’s new farm home where practical design reigns supreme. The McLeod’s took a grassroots approach in planning from initial architectural research phases, through to décor. Priorities included function, comfort and simplicity in a historically authentic package.
CRAFT’s Reclaimed Heart Pine floors are made out of authentic 100 year-old beams and posts, salvaged from factories and warehouses from a bygone era and they feel right at home here, adding character and warmth, and inviting retrospection on the ancestral craftsmanship that has historically allowed people to build and create.
